PFC Womack and His Uncle Lt. Colonel Reid attends Westminster PCA Church in Ft. Walon Beach, Florida.
Tamara, Mother of Garett
I grew up in Omaha and always attended the big churches. One Sunday while sitting in church the pastor spoke on prayer and yet in the entire service there wasn’t any prayer, so it was at that time I started searching for a church that I could attend with my son and feel welcomed. After attending several churches in town I was encouraged by my older sister to check out this church called Harvest who were currently meeting in a store front.
Well, by the time I decided to check it out they had moved to a little church in Benson and that first Sunday I attended I was in awe of the teaching but the prayer time made me weep. I couldn’t believe how much was in the service and scheduled during the week. II Chronicles 7:14 says, "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Harvest indeed welcomed me and my 9 year old son as part of their church body and now 10 years later as my son is in the Army they continue to pray for not only me but also my son who heading to Iraq soon. Prayer is just one of the reasons I took membership to Harvest but the church body has been a tremendous blessing to me
